Amari Cooper has been traded to the Cleveland Browns. Soon after that was announced, Jarvis Landry was granted permission to seek a trade. What does this mean for Cooper in terms of fantasy? I think this is a great move for the Browns, especially if they lose Landry to trade; however, this move is probably not great for Cooper in terms of fantasy, as he gets a downgraded situation and passer, and changing teams (again) is never an easy transition. I don’t see Cooper as anything more than a very good WR3 or a very risky WR2. The real winners? Ceedee Lamb and Dalton Schultz (and Gallup/Wilson of course win as well). Lamb will certainly get force-fed in 2022 now that Cooper is off the roster, and he could arguably get 1300-1400 receiving yards, 90+ receptions and 12+ TDs. He slightly disappointed in 2021, as I had him on the bold predictions and he only did well, not amazing. But, I think the prediction is just a season too early. I think he drops top 5WR numbers in 2022. Schultz has top 5TE upside.
