Unfortunately, Alvin Kamara was arrested on Sunday evening for battery, as he reportedly injured a man at a night club so badly that the man was hospitalized.

What does it mean? Well, we don’t yet know, but it doesn’t look good. It’s possible that there are two sides to this story, and the police acted too swiftly, but the odds aren’t great that this is the case, as detectives appeared to wait a little less than a day to arrest Kamara (after the Pro Bowl), thus indicating they did a little digging and potentially gathered some evidence, witnesses, footage, etc. Now, that is speculation on my part, the only facts we have about this situation, as of this very moment of this write-up, remain inside that police statement above. So know that, but with all the chaos hitting the league right now, with coaching and scandals, you can bet that Goodell could act swiftly vs. wait, as being arrested is a HUGE deal, it’s not like this is a civil issue like Dalvin Cook’s, where it’s he said she said… this is Kamara getting arrested for battery… booked, and to be released on bond. The NFL can act on this and probably will. Swiftly.
Stay tuned. For now, be optimistic if possible, but also be prepared for him to miss some time (at a minimum, in my opinion).
