A pair of Tennessee Titans and Cam Newton are among the top fantasy football pickups to make ahead of Week 11.
The fantasy football regular season is heading down the stretch and each week is more critical. The next few weeks will also feature a ton of important bye weeks to navigate, including Week 11’s slate forcing fantasy owners to work without members of the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.
As we do every week, let’s take a look at the five top fantasy football pickups of the week. All rostered percentages referenced here are courtesy of Yahoo fantasy leagues.
5. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 11 – Tennessee Titans RB D’Onta Foreman
Most people assumed that the running backs to roster after Derrick Henry’s injury in Tennessee were either pass catching option Jeremy McNichols or ageless wonder Adrian Peterson. A third contender entered the ring in Week 10 as D’Onta Foreman started getting some work early in the game for the Titans.
Foreman, who entered the day with just five carries for the season, received 11 carries for 48 yards while catching two passes for 48 yards. The usage is noteworthy since he received more carries than either Peterson (eight) or McNichols (four) while receiving two targets compared to the four combined for the other two backs.
Perhaps it is an isolated game plan issue, but Foreman is worth a speculative pickup in deeper leagues. Foreman is rostered in just three percent of Yahoo leagues and has a good matchup against the Houston Texans on deck for Week 11.
