Podcast: Talking NHL Finals
RotoRob once again guested on the Sports Phanatics News Podcast, this time to talk about the NHL and NBA Finals, some Philadelphia Flyer news, and the key hockey and basketball free agents this summer.
As usual, it was a great discussion as we dissected some fantastic action from each sport’s championship round.
Among the topics we covered were:
- How the NHL and NBA Finals mirror each other with an experienced champion going up against an inexperienced younger team.
- How the Celtics have responded before with their backs against the wall.
- Andrei Vasilevskiy looked tired in Game One.
- Does it make sense for Detroit to take a run at Evgeni Malkin?
- Is P.K. Subban only a No. 4 or 5 defenseman now?
- Did Rasmus Ristolainen ever really get to figure out who we was in Buffalo?
- Ondrej Palat would be an ideal player in John Tortorella‘s system.
- How will Morgan Frost work out under Torts?
- Why the Flyers might be able to get Johnny Gaudreau.
- Tanner Laczynski‘s speed and defensive prowess could endear him to Tortorella.
