QB
Jameis Winston (NO) 26% rostered
Winston really showed up in Week 1, and is going to be a popular add as a result. Winston looked like the QB that Tampa Bay hoped he would have been. Efficient, and didn’t throw an (official) pick. Next up for the team is a Panthers defense that just struggled against Zach Wilson in the opening week.
Mac Jones (NE) 22% rostered
The rookie looked effective in his opening week against a tough Miami defense. He completed 29 passes for 281 yards and a single TD. With the Jets next up, Jones is a decent streaming option.
Teddy Bridgewater (DEN) 11% rostered
Bridgewater won the battle for the QB spot in Denver, and really put a stamp upon that against the Giants. Sure, it was the Giants but that 264 yards and 2TDs was a decent outing. With a matchup against Jacksonville next, even without Jerry Jeudy, he should be a solid streaming option.

- Sam Darnold (CAR) 6% rostered
RB
Giovani Bernard (TB) 21% rostered
Bernard didn’t really get much involvement until much later in the game. But after Ronald Jones was pulled after a fumble, he played second fiddle to Leonard Fournette. In a PPR league, he could be worth picking up if you are in need (we could still be looking at James White in this offense).
Tony Jones (NO) 15% rostered
With Latavius Murray leaving the team, the RB2 spot for the Saints was up for grabs. That now looks to be Jones, who was handed the ball alongside Alvin Kamara. It’s unlikely Jones will see as much work as he did in Week 1 each week, but as a backup option to Alvin Kamara he is worth picking up.
Mark Ingram 11% rostered
A sentence that I didn’t think I’d say this season. Pick up part of the Houston Texans RBBC this week. Ingram had a solid week against a weak Jacksonville unit. He carried for 85 yards a TD, which is good. What wasn’t as good was that it was off 26 carries. Don’t expect too much in Week 2 though, as the team go up against the Cleveland Browns.
Kenneth Gainwell (PHI) 4% rostered
Gainwell looks to have a role on this offense, getting more involved that the guy many thought would be the backup, Boston Scott. Gainwell would have actually scored two TDs if it wasn’t for a penalty ruling one out. Miles Sanders looked effective too, but it was also Gainwell who was used in the redzone.
Elijah Mitchell (SF) 1% rostered
Mitchell is going to be the pickup this week after Trey Sermon was a healthy scratch. With Raheem Mostert leaving the field injured, Mitchell is likely to be given the next man up. Word of caution though, the 49ers backfield changes often so don’t blow all of your FAAB budget.
Others to Consider
- Rhamondre Stevenson (NE) 19% rostered
- Darrel Williams (KC) 8% rostered
- Ty Johnson (NYJ) 6% rostered
- Larry Rountree (LAC) 1% rostered
NOTE: Cordarrelle Patterson is worth adding too, especially with his eligibility as a WR (depending on where you play)
WR
Russell Gage (ATL) 33% rostered
Gage is going to be dropped in a bunch of leagues where teams expected him to be relevant. But its far more likely that the Falcons offense just struggled for the opening week, and should improve looking forward. Oh, don’t start him this week though against Tampa Bay.
Nelson Agholor (NE) 30% rostered
Agholor didn’t get the same buzz as Jakobi Meyers got this offseason, but he showed why he was signed in the offseason. Meyers had more targets, but Agholor was more effective with his targets. Next up is a Jets team that isn’t the best in the secondary.
Sterling Shepard (NYG) 25% rostered
The Giants offense didn’t look good, but equally the Denver defense is a decent unit. Either way, Shepard did all he could on the field, with seven receptions for 113 yards and a TD. In a PPR league, you could do worse.
Terrace Marshall Jr. (CAR) 21% rostered
Marshall was used in the Carolina offense int he opening week, only being beaten in targets by Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore. The opening schedule is decent for Carolina, so in PPR leagues especially pick him up and see what he could become.
Christian Kirk (AR) 4% rostered
Kirk is going to be a popular pickup this week after his 5 receptions for 70 yards and 2TDs. A word of caution, he has done this in previous seasons and then disappointed. But don’t hear what I’m not saying. He has every chance to be a solid asset, given the strength of the offense.

TE
Jared Cook (LAC) 22% rostered
Cook has stepped in and has become a reliable weapon for Justin Herbert. This week, he matches up against the Dallas Cowboys that got shredded by Rob Gronkowski.
Cole Kmet (CHI) 22% rostered
Let’s be honest, it doesn’t take too much to be a streaming option at the TE position. Kmet was joint-second in targets for the Bears, behind Allen Robinson. The usage is there, and against the Bengals, production should follow.
Juwan Johnson (NO) 1% rostered
Johnson might not be a TE where you play, but he is in the majority of platforms. The preseason hype was all around Adam Trautman, but Johnson was the one that looked effective in preseason. Johnson only had three targets to Trautman’s team-high six, but they were majority in thre redzone, where he converted them to 2 TDs. Might have some lean weeks, but worth picking up to see how things shake out.

DST
New Orleans 27% rostered
The Saints managed to keep the Packers offense in check, with Aaron Rodgers looking a shadow of shadow of himself. Against Sam Darnold and Carolina next week, you could do worse.
Green Bay Packers 24% rostered
The Packers were demolished on the road, and will be looking to make a statement in Week 2. The team that stands in their way are the Detroit Lions. With the whole team wanting to make a statement, expect a performance from the DST.
Chicago Bears 10% rostered
The Rams really did a number on Chicago in the opening week, but Week 2 gives them an opportunity for amends. The Bengals have shown their ability to score points, but the team have also struggled in protection at times.
K
Matt Prater (ARI) 33% rostered
Prater missed one FG, but slotted all of his extra points. Against the Vikings this week we could see more attempts at goal, if the Vikings manage to return to their bend don’t break defense.
