The fantasy football championship is here. Whether you’re in the big game, or fighting for a consolation finish, these sleepers will help you in your game.
The fantasy football season is in for one last hurrah this week, as most championships are occurring in Week 17. Whether you made the championship, or enduring your league’s last place punishment, here’s to hoping your fantasy football season was a blast.
With that being said, let’s close out this last week with a group of wideouts that have upside to outperform their ranking this week.
Wide receiver sleepers for fantasy football Week 17
10. Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers
Allen Lazard’s role in Green Bay’s offense has seemingly become more stable. Since his Week 13 bye week, he’s had at least five targets in the last three games and has a touchdown in two of them. It’s normally a tossup between Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling when deciding who will take the WR2 snaps, but Lazard has seen his floor increase.
Lazard and the Packers take on the Vikings’ 27th-ranked secondary, where he should continue to be a factor in this high-powered offense.
9. Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens
We’ve seen Rashod Bateman put up WR1 fantasy weeks (7-103) and we’ve seen him put up waiver wire finishes as well (1-5). He’s a little more volatile than you’d like to see in a fantasy player, but that’s the Baltimore passing game outside of Mark Andrews.
Bateman and the Ravens have an big matchup with the Rams this week, where he should be heavily involved in the passing attack, whether it’s Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley at quarterback.
