It’s getting down to the wire in the fantasy football season. These 10 running backs are worth a second look as we trying to find a way into the playoffs.
It’s getting to the end. The fantasy football season has around two more weeks to go in the regular season in most leagues. Somehow, the NFL is still dealing with major teams on bye weeks. The Titans, Panthers, Packers, and Browns are all on a bye this week. That means people who may be in desperation mode trying to make the players might have to rely on players on this list because they don’t have Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb, or Dontrell Hilliard. Even some players like Chuba Hubbard, A.J. Dillon, and D’Onte Foreman had a role to play in a lot of teams, especially the ones looking for a desperate run to the playoffs.
This list might be as important this week as any week so far this season. Week 13 is key in what has been one of the more frustrating seasons in NFL history. Who can really make a move for fantasy owners this week?

10. Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Here we go again. Ronald Jones ruined seasons earlier in the year. He was one of the biggest busts in fantasy, and he wasn’t even drafted that high. It just seemed like the Bucs were always going to lean toward Leonard Fournette after what he did in the playoffs. “Playoff Lenny” came to play last week, with Fournette scoring a ridiculous four touchdowns and being one of the best players in all of the NFL.
One thing we didn’t notice during Fournette’s ridiculous performance is Jones scored a touchdown himself. Jones scored from the one-yard line, which means the Bucs trusted to give him the ball on the one-yard line. It’s the second game in a row that Jones scored a touchdown, and the Bucs are starting to either trust him more or try to take the load off of Fournette before the postseason. Either way, expect Jones to get a lot of looks in the red zone as the Bucs take on the Atlanta Falcons, who allow 26 points per game to the running back position in standard leagues.
