Daniel Jones week-to-week with neck strain

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has a neck injury. The neck “strain,” as it is being called, will make Jones a week-to-week decision for New York. Backup quarterback Mike Glennon is expected to start in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins.

The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Jones has led the Giants to a record of 4-7 through 11 games in 2021. Through those 11 games, he has thrown for 2,428 yards on 64.3 percent completion. He has 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions along with seven fumbles. The Giants are 12-25 with Jones under center.

The Giants are Glennon’s sixth team since entering the league in 2013. He is 6-21 as a starter in that span with 44 passing touchdowns to 27 interceptions. The Giants also signed quarterback Jake Fromm to their practice squad on Tuesday. New York will take on the surging Dolphins in Week 13.
