If you ask us, we always appreciate when the manufacturers themselves offer official accessories to the customers. It saves the owners a load of headaches searching for appropriate third-party accessories in the market for their machine. 

Just like Royal Enfield released various accessories alongside the launch of their Himalayan Scram 411, Suzuki India have also released the official list of accessories suitable for their newly released V-Strom 250 SX.

Standard Accessories

  1. Knuckle Covers

These come standard on the ADV and keep rain, wind and small rocks & pebbles off rider’s hands. 

  1. Tall Windscreen

Comes fitted standard on the adventure-tourer, the windscreen is fitted at a higher angle so to keep wind off the body of taller stature riders as well. 

  1. Engine Under-cowling

Also comes fitted as standard, the Engine under-cowling provides under-body protection, especially the engine, from unexpected rocks, stones or extreme bike bottoming-out. 

  1. USB Charging Port

The ADV gets a USB charging port equipped with USB-A to help the rider charge their smartphones on the go.

  1. Rear Carrier integrated with Grab Rails

One of the most important accessories for an ADV is the rear carrier on which the rider can lash their luggage or mount a top-box to carry the said luggage. Suzuki have combined the rear carrier and the grab bar into one unit to better facilitate the rider during their journey or commute.

Optional Accessories

  1. Accessory Bar

A rectangular frame made from metallic tubes, it works along with the under-body cowling to protect the engine bay from impact. It also protects the bike from the side if and when unexpected tip-over occurs.

  1. Fuel Tank Pad

The tank pad protects the metallic tank and its paintwork from unnecessary dings and scratches.

  1. Fuel Tank Side-Pads 

Works in combination with the fuel tank pad mentioned above, the side-pads protect the sides of the fuel tank along with providing the rider a better latching point to better grip the bike with his/her legs.  

  1. Low-height Seat Assembly

This option seat assembly further lowers the seat height of the bike by 25 mm compared to the stock seat. This reduces the effective seat height to 810 mm, more suitable for riders with varied stature. 

  1. Wheel Decals – Red

These decals add Red accents to the rims of the ADV to enhance the look of the bike.
