Although the CRF450R has reigned supreme on the Dirt Rider dyno in recent years as far as standard 450 motocross models go, that has changed for 2022 as the KTM 450 SX-F and GasGas MC 450F have knocked the Honda down to the final step of the podium in terms of peak horsepower. However, the CRF450R is not far behind with 53.8 hp at 9,300 rpm. As far as peak torque, Big Red’s 34.1 pound-feet of torque at 7,200 rpm slots it in the runner-up spot behind the 450 SX-F. Honda owners can take solace in the fact that the CRF450R is still the fastest-feeling bike in the segment though.
