Michael van Gerwen (2/1 Premier League outright) can watch from afar on Thursday for the Premier League night in Leeds after becoming the first player to secure his place in the semi-finals.
The Dutchman’s progress to the last four comes in unfortunate circumstances, with his opponent Gary Anderson testing positive for Covid-19 just prior to the event in West Yorkshire.
Anderson was in line to travel to Leeds but after feeling unwell, the 51-year-old has remained at home to give Van Gerwen a 6-0 win and a free run through to the semi-finals, where he will face either Michael Smith or Peter Wright.

Smith and Wright (Smith 11/10, Wright 8/11 – Match Betting) will go head-to-head in the opener on Thursday night at the First Direct Arena, before Joe Cullen takes on Jonny Clayton.
The clash between Smith and Wright looks to be the standout fixture of the night, having seen both players battle it out in the World Championship final in January.
It was the Scotman Wright who managed to come out on top 7-5 that day and he’s enjoyed more success against Smith since.
The two men met in Cardiff in the opening round of this season’s Premier League, with Wright beating the St Helens star Smith 6-3.
The last quarter-final of the night sees James Wade and Gerwyn Price (Wade 6/4, Price 8/15 – Match Betting) go toe-to-toe with the winner meeting Cullen or Clayton in the last four (Cullen 5/4, Clayton 8/13 – Match Betting).
