Rain plays havoc for local cricket

No cricket was played on Saturday with showers falling across Geelong and the Surf Coast

Poor weather has hampered the last home-and-away round for Geelong Cricket Association with all games classified as a draw.

Over 8mm of rain fell with constant showers between 1pm and 5pm.

The Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association finals have been postponed with the forecast for next Saturday much better, Sunny and 24 degrees.

Plenty of attention will be on the D Grade final with Port Arlington and Queenscliff meeting for the first time since their infamous brawl last month.
