In the men’s 400 meters Kirani James and Isaac Makwala aim to go sub 44 seconds.
In women’s 200 meters the Namibian 18-year-old wonder Christine Mboma looks to take a step closer to Florence Griffith-Joyner’s World Record of 21,34.
In women’s 2000 meters the runners aim to break Genzebe Dibaba’s WR of 5.23,75 which she ran in 2017. Burundi’s Francine Niyonsaba is the number one candidate for the WR.
