Men’s Track and Field Dash for Top Ten Finishes at David Hemery Valentine Invite

Central Connecticut men’s track and field put together a number of top ten finishes at day two of the David Hemery Valentine Invite on Saturday, including a third place finish from Jovan Dixon.

Dixon, a sophomore runner, placed third in the 60m dash open with a 7.11 finish time. 

The Blue Devils also had a freshman runner finish in the top ten in the 60m HH open. Lorenzo Garcia crossed the finish line at 8.86.

Ali Diaby finished 14th in the 200m at 21.67.

Isreal Henriques-Setho finished first in his head and ninth overall in the triple jump with a 14.21m leap and also grabbed a 14th finish in the long jump with a 6.40m jump. Setho surpassed his previous high this season in the triple jump with the performance Saturday (previously jumped 13.35 at TCNJ Invite).
