2022 XCR Cross Country Season Now Open

We are pleased to announce that the 2022 Cross Country (XCR) season is now open.
After two stop-start years, XCR returns with 12 events spread across five months.

Kicking off with the traditional Jells Park Relays on Saturday, May 7, we then include two rounds of Schools Cross Country before returning to the regular season on May 28 at the brand new course at Bendigo at St. Anne’s Winery.
The well-loved venues of Cruden Farm and St Anne’s Winery feature in Rounds 3 and 4 respectfully before we return to Sandown and Bundoora in the lead up to the 2022 Lakeside:10 at Albert Park on Sunday, August 7.

If you’re looking to do the 2022 Nike Melbourne Marathon, we have the perfect lead up in Rounds 8 and 9, with the Ballarat 15km and 6km, followed by the Burnley Half Marathon on Sunday, September 4, which also features the 5 km run on fully closed roads.
The XCR season is capped off with the Tan Relays on Saturday, September 17.

No matter your running abilities, our XCR season features a range of distances and locations from inner-city courses to farm-land rolling hills.
XCR is the perfect event to get outdoors, challenge yourself, and do your best with friends. Member and non-member entries are available.

We are also excited to launch our FAMILY3K fun walk and run in 2022.

Starting from just $20, you and your family can take advantage of closed roads and big event atmosphere across three fantastic locations.

From Bendigo on May 28 to Sandown Racecourse on July 9 and finally to Albert Park on August 7, FAMILY3k encourages everyone to get out and about in a non-competitive environment, focusing on personal achievement, with each participant receiving a medal to celebrate their success.

You can enter 1, 2, or all 3 FAMILY3k run/walk events without commitment. Get all the information and enter the FAMILY3K here.
