P.J. Tucker and the Houston Rockets decided last week it was time to move on, and Wednesday found a solution for their collective impasse. Houston will send Tucker, Rodions Kurucs and the Bucks own 2022 first-round pick back to Milwaukee in exchange for D.J. Augustin, D.J. Wilson and an unprotected 2023 first-round pick, along with second-for-first-round swap rights in 2021.
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and confirmed by several others.

Tucker is averaging 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 30 minutes per game this season. He’s struggling with his shot, firing away at career-low clips of 31.4% from 3-point range and 36.6% overall.
As part of the deal, the Bucks will send forward Torrey Craig to Phoenix, which will have to exchange cash, a player or a pick currently to be determined. Craig has struggled to find the success he enjoyed in Denver prior to joining Milwaukee as a free agent, averaging a career-low 11.5 minutes and 39.1% shooting (he’s at 44.7% across three-plus seasons overall.
Phoenix will have to send back either cash, the draft rights to a player or a second (can be protected). https://t.co/uTn2GTqmqJ
