BURLINGTON – Both the BC High and Lincoln-Sudbury squads have two of the most prolific offenses in the state, but when the teams met in the MIAA Division 1 Final Four on Saturday afternoon at Burlington High School, it came down to the goalies.
The No. 3 Eagles saw 15 saves from Andrew Toland while the No. 2 Warriors got 11 from Nolan O’Brien in what was just a fantastic high school lacrosse game. In the end, Toland and the Eagles squeaked by 8-6 to advance to the D1 title game on Tuesday night at Worcester State.
