Q&A: Ask Barry Svrluga about the Nationals and MLB

Hello, baseball fans. We had such fun with all the questions during last week’s Q&A — which came just a day after the news that the Lerner family will explore selling the Washington Nationals — that we decided to run back the same topic but with a new, improved format. So let’s welcome Chelsea Janes, our national Major League Baseball writer and a former Nationals beat scribe, who will have a ton of good answers to your questions, too.

We’re happy to go over some new territory on a potential Nationals sale. But feel free to ask about anything across this young season — Aaron Judge not going to Toronto with his Yankees teammates, Justin Verlander’s bounce back with the Astros, Max Scherzer’s start with the Mets, the Dodgers continuing to be the Dodgers — whatever’s on your mind.

We’ll start at 1 p.m. Tuesday, but anyone who wants to submit questions early, please do!

Send us your questions below. The question box includes a space for your name, but this is optional. Your question may be edited for accuracy and clarity.
