While watching key offensive line prospects at other pro days and meeting virtually with a wideout draft prospect, the Cincinnati Bengals also sent personnel to Oklahoma’s pro day ahead of the 2021 NFL draft.
Jim Nagy of the Senior Bowl noted the Bengals alongside several other teams in attendance.
There, big-name prospects like offensive lineman Creed Humphrey, defensive back Tre Brown and edge defender Ronnie Perkins ran through the litany of tests and drills in a year that didn’t feature a scouting combine.
Humphrey could be of particular interest to the Bengals as early as the second round because they need help at guard, if not insurance on the chance center Trey Hopkins can’t rehab back fast enough in time for Week 1.
Humphrey, in particular, was impressive:
One of the easiest checks-all-the-boxes prospects to scout/project in this year’s draft is Oklahoma OC Creed Humphrey. Crushed his pro-day this morning. If you need a starting center in 2021 take him and shore up the position for the next 7-10 years.

Before free agency changes the conversation next week, all three of the mentioned prospects should be considered second-round Bengals targets. This surely isn’t the last time the team will come up in pro day conversations, but those three, in particular, seem like prospects they could really like at a good value.
