The Handball Association of Ghana, (HAG) is set to hold the 2nd memorial walk / match in honor of the late acting president, Nortey Dowuona.
The late Nortey Dowuona who passed away in December last year played vital roles in the development of the game in the country as well as the continent as whole.
The memorial event which has been slated for Saturday, 29th January, 2022 would begin at the Prisons complex at Cantonment, through Osu Oxford street and finally to the Accra sports stadium.
A special memorial match which would feature two selected sides of National team players, “Possibles vs Probables” has also been fixed to come off at the Accra sports stadium, Handball court immediately after the walk.
The association in a letter dated Tuesday, 25th January, 2022 signed by the General Secretary, Mr. Charles Amofa and sighted by this portal urged all stakeholders, Handball enthusiasts and the general public to grace the occasion in their numbers.
