LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 22 Kentucky (13-3, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) is set to host Vanderbilt (4-7, 0-5 SEC) on Friday at 3 p.m. ET at Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
Friday’s match was rescheduled from its original start time later in the evening in hopes of avoiding potential inclement weather, paving the way for the first outdoor match of the calendar year in Lexington.
The Wildcats are a perfect 11-0 at home this season.
Last week, Kentucky swept a visiting top-50 Arkansas team 7-0. The match was clinched on court two by sophomore Gabriel Diallo, who also clinched the doubles point alongside César Bourgois.
The Cats are led on the season by No. 45 Liam Draxl with a 13-1 record on the top singles court.
Vanderbilt enters Friday fresh off a 5-2 home loss to that same Arkansas team. The Commodores are 0-4 on the road after opening the season with four straight wins in Nashville, Tennessee.
