El Sackico?
Tottenham Hotspur play host to Manchester United this evening in a game that could have massive repurcussions for the future of both sides.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. travel to north London knowing that they will need to provide a much better result, and more importantly, performance, than that which saw them embarrassed 5-0 by Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The defeat, Manchester United’s 3rd in the opening nine games of the season, sees the Red Devils now 8 points off the early title-running, an unacceptable position to be in with the squad that they have.
As a result, the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been severely called into question, with expectations that he would be sacked following the Liverpool loss. However, as per Jason Burt of The Telegraph, the Norwegian has 3 games to save his job, the first of which is this clash.
The latest on Nuno Espirito Santo
With all of the spotlight falling firmly on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Nuno Espirito Santo’s struggles at Tottenham have gone somewhat under the radar.
Joining in the summer, the Portuguese coach got his Spurs career off to a flying start with a 1-0 win over Manchester City, but his side have stamped on the brakes since, picking up 12 points from 8 subsequent matches.

Results aside too, it is the style of play that is turning the lilywhite faithful against their latest coach, with Spurs failing to have a shot on target in the second half of their 1-0 defeat to West Ham, despite being behind for the better part of half an hour.
However, as per Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard:
“he is not thought to be in immediate danger with a defeat on Saturday, with an acceptance at Spurs that they are starting a new cycle which could take years to peak.”
Clearly then, Spurs fans will have to swallow their reservations and get used to seeing Nuno in the dugout a little longer, irrespective of the result this evening.
