FORMER Celtic star Jozo Simunovic has explained why he will wear the No55 jersey after finally finding a new club.
The ex-Hoops star has been out in the cold for 18 MONTHS following his Parkhead exit.

The 27-year-old was plagued by injuries during his five-year spell in Glasgow but he was still able to make over 125 appearances and help Celtic dominate domestically by winning five league titles, three Scottish Cups and three league cups during his time in Scotland.
But he is now back in the game after penning a deal with HNK Gorica in his homeland until the end of the season.
Speaking about the move, he said: “It is a nice feeling to return home, to a club from my hometown, after so many years abroad.
“I’ve been in this area for the last year, and now I’m home and in football terms.
“And I am overjoyed to be back in the training process and competitive rhythm.
“I am looking forward to everything that awaits us together.
“I left Celtic last summer, a lot has happened in the meantime, but nothing has happened until this agreement with Gorica.
“I am here now, completely focused on every workout, with a great desire to get back in the best possible shape as soon as possible.

“The injury has healed, everything is fine, now it’s just a matter of time to adapt to training and matches.”
Simunovic wore the No5 jersey during his time at Parkhead and he has explained the reason to go for 55 this time around.
He added: “So far I have always worn a five, and now I have decided to take two, to be twice as good as before.”

HNK Gorica currently occupy fifth spot in Croatia’s top flight.
They sit seven points behind league leaders Rijeka and six off a European spot.
Next up this weekend is an away clash at Hajduk Split – who boast a familiar face in Rangers defender Nikola Katic.
