World Cerebral Palsy Day with Novie Craven and RJ Nealon

In honor of World Cerebral Palsy Day, and National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Inclusion Revolution Radio podcast recorded a special episode with podcast host, Novie Craven, and Special Olympics North America communications fellow and athlete reporter, RJ Nealon.

Together they talk about how they have overcome everyday challenges while living with Cerebral Palsy.

RJ started showing signs of Cerebral Palsy at only six months old. He faced obstacles growing up but didn’t let it get in the way of his love for sports. He was a Special Olympics Maryland athlete for nearly 20 years and competed at the 2010 Special Olympics National Games in Nebraska.

RJ went on to graduate with honors from University of Alabama and is now a communications fellow and athlete reporter for Special Olympics North America.

Novie Craven has been a Special Olympics athlete for over 10 years. Sherepresented Special Olympics District of Columbia at USA Games in Seattle, Washington where she won a bronze medal in bocce. Novie works as a coordinator on the Marketing Development team. This year, she helped start the Inclusion Revolution Radio podcast.
