Adam Cole is in talks with WWE for a new deal.
It was reported last week that Adam Cole’s WWE contract had expired in July and was working through SummerSlam in August without a new deal.
The Wrestling Observer issued a follow up in this week’s issue that as of mid-week there had been no change in situation as pertains to a new deal.
Fightful added that Cole was backstage at SmackDown this Friday, to have a “high-level meeting” with Vince McMahon.
AEW President Tony Khan issued a statement earlier this week indicating no deal had been offered to Cole from AEW after it was reported a contract had been offered.
