Fernandes & Man United
The signing of Bruno Fernandes has proven to be one of the best bits of business Manchester United have done in years.
The Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting CP in January of 2020, and has since gone on to completely dominate the English top-flight.
Fernandes, of course, played a key role in United securing a Champions League for 2019/20.
The midfield maestro was then once again in top form this past season. In total, Fernandes netted 28 and assisted 17 in 58 outings across all competitions this season – a feat which saw Fernandes named as Man United’s Player of the Year.
Fernandes’ fine form has also carried over into the current campaign for the Red Devils.
New Fernandes deal?
Fernandes has already scored four in four in the Premier League this term whilst also providing a superb assist for Cristiano Ronaldo vs Young Boys earlier this week.
It just had to be him, didn’t it! 🎯

Now, despite still being tied down at Old Trafford till at least 2025, Fernandes looks to be in line for a new deal following his sensational stint at Man United so far.
According to the Sun, Fernandes is closing in on a new contract at United. The deal will reportedly be five years long, keeping him in Manchester still 2026.
It is added that Fernandes will increase his salary by nearly £100,000-a-week with the new deal, which is said to see him earn over £250,000-a-week if he signs it.
The Sun go on to claim that Fernandes has been persuaded to stay after the signing of Ronaldo and huge investment in the transfer market.
