Charlie Nicholas has criticised Stan Petrov’s Celtic knowledge and questioned why BT Sport use the Bulgarian as a pundit.
The 42-year-old was the in-studio pundit for Celtic’s Europa League 4-3 defeat against Real Betis in Seville.
Petrov was drafted in after Chris Sutton and Neil Lennon were refused entry to Ibrox as the broadcasters devised an alternative plan.
But former Hoops star Nicholas launched an unprovoked attack on Petrov and claimed that he didn’t know anything about the current Celtic squad.
Why is Stiliyan Petrov doing the @CelticFC game??
He knows nothing about this new hoops team! They need to get someone who is in the know with Celtic nowadays, who can give good insight on this team.

Nicolas was a regular pundit on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday show for years but the 59-year-old was replaced this summer.
