Hilton (neck) will miss multiple games after he aggravated a neck disk issue in practice. ‘He was experiencing some discomfort during the trip to Detroit (last week),’ head coach Frank Reich said. ‘Got scans done. It’s a disk issue. That’s a complicated issue. More meetings, more evaluations to come, more opinions to come. We want to do due diligence there.’
| Footballguys view: Neck injuries are tricky to deal with and caution is needed moving forward. Hilton’s injury is not season ending but he’s going to be out quite some time. That leaves the Colts passing game without the seasoned veteran who was excited to get more deep shots this season. Zach Pascal and Michael Pittman will get more work as the top two receivers on the depth chart with Hilton out of action for multiple weeks. |
