Kylian Mbappe appears to have put an end to all the speculation around his future, at least when this summer is concerned. As relayed by Sport, the France international made it perfectly clear he still dreams of winning the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 giants has less than a year left to run, but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already expressed a firm stance about not selling their most valuable player this summer.
Having won the 2018 World Cup with France, the 22-year-old is determined to add the most prestigious trophy in club football to his collection as well, and he wants to do it wearing a PSG shirt. PSG came very close in 2019-20, losing the final at the hands of Bayern Munich by a single goal, and they reached the semis in 2020-21, when they were knocked out over two legs by Manchester City.
Real Madrid were strongly linked with Mbappe in the last couple of windows, but the finances of the Spanish giants have been too heavily hit by the ongoing pandemic to make such a move at this point.
