Park Rapids freshman Anna Eckmann tied for fifth place while Park Rapids sophomore Mady Maninga tied for 31st place in their debuts at the Class AA tournament at Ridges at Sand Creek on Wednesday, June 16.
Eckmann followed an 81 on Day 1 with an 81 on Day 2 to finish at 162 while Maninga followed a 91 on Day 1 with an 89 on Day 2 to finish at 180.
Perham’s Mallory Belka claimed the state title by following a 73 on Day 1 with a 75 on Day 2 for a 148. Lake City’s Jordana Windhorst was second at 157 while Providence Academy’s Grace Petzold finished third at 158 and Minnewaska Area’s Annika Stensrud placed fourth at 161. LeSueur-Henderson’s Makenna Reinhardt shared fifth place at 162 in the 87-golfer field.
Lake City won the team title at 673 with rounds of 343 and 330. Section 8AA champion Fergus Falls carded rounds of 359 and 368 to finish third at 727 and Pequot Lakes placed fifth at 734 with a pair of 367s.
