Having made just the one senior appearance for the Gunners six years ago in 2015, midfielder and Finnish international Glen Kamara has found his way back on the radar of the club where it all started.
Kamara, now playing a starring role for Scottish champions Rangers is on the summer shortlist for Arsenal who are eyeing a new midfielder – according to Football Insider.
Rangers, should they decide to cash-in this summer, would be looking for a fee around £10million for the 25-year-old – a sizable profit on the £50,000 they paid in 2019.
It would be hard to imagine that Glen Kamara is the first-choice pick of midfielder’s on the shortlist, but should other options not be possible the Finn would likely be offered a five-year deal by Arsenal.
Kamara has featured in 49 games this season, scoring and assisting four goals combined for Steven Gerrard’s champions.
