Chelsea have one of the best youth football academies in the world, and it is no wonder that a handful of them just won the Champions League before they’ve barely hit their early 20s.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has invested a lot of time and a lot of money into our youth academy, and he is really seeing the rewards now.

Roman wants to see as many of these players as possible come through the ranks at the club, but business and winning trophies will always be priority.
Not every academy prospect will break through and make it at the club, but it is important to remember that Roman is STILL invested in the academy, and Thomas Tuchel is fully aware of this.
He knows the importance of bringing players through when he feels they are ready and needed, and he has proven that already on a few occasions this season going to watch academy and U23 matches.
Tuchel has also bought a few of the highly rated academy lads into senior training often this season, and he rates a good handful of players highly. Does this mean they will all make it? No. However, some will certainly get chances to.
Not only that, but some of the lads out on loan have a decent chance as well, and two names in particular that stand out who could have a chance as soon as next season is Tino Livramento and Armando Broja.
Sky Sports have confirmed my report from weeks ago that Broja is liked by Tuchel, and is under consideration of being bought in next season as an extra centre forward, with Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham both looking set to leave.
As I said this morning, and on the Podcast a couple weeks back, Chelsea are set to open negotiations with Armando Broja over a new contract, with Thomas Tuchel considering including him in the first team next season.

In my view he is good enough to come in to our first team now and do a good job, he will certainly surprise a few if he does.
Other than that, Tuchel wants a wide right-sided player according to The Telegraph, with Adama Traore and Archaf Hakimi being mentioned.
I happen to know that Tuchel is a big admirer of Livramento, who happens to also play in that position. The youngster has trained under Tuchel on a number of occasions this season and even made the bench in a couple games at the end.
He is certainly one to keep an eye on and with transfer priorities seemingly elsewhere, Livramento could come into the first team squad as an option wide right.
They are both more than good enough to be squad players for me, some would argue more.
