Newcastle United travel to Burnley for their Premier League game this weekend and the Magpies will be desperate to pick up three points.
Steve Bruce’s side have not won any of their last six Premier League matches and they need to start picking up points if they want to beat the drop this season.
Fulham crashed to a defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers last night and this is a glorious opportunity for the Magpies to pull clear of the Londoners with a victory here.
A win here could send them six points clear of 18th placed Fulham and it will be interesting to see if the players can step up and get the job done.
Newcastle managed to beat Burnley back in October and the fans will be hoping for more of the same here.
However, the Magpies have been abysmal away from home in recent months and they have failed to score in seven of their last nine away league games. The return of Wilson here could make a big difference for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Burnley have drawn their last five home games in the Premier League and they will fancy their chances of picking up a win against an inconsistent Newcastle side this weekend.
The Magpies will be without the services of Fabian Schar, Isaac Hayden, Jamaal Lascelles and Ryan Fraser due to injuries.
The likes of Federico Fernandez and Callum Wilson have managed to train all week and they should be back in action against Burnley.
Predicted Newcastle starting line-up: Dubravka, Murphy, Fernandez, Clark, Ritchie, Willock, Shelvey, Longstaff, Almiron, Saint-Maximin, Wilson
Bruce is likely to make five changes to the side that drew against Spurs last time out. Krafth, Dummett, Gayle and Joelinton are set to drop to the bench and Lascelles is injured.
29-year-old Wilson should return to the starting line-up along with Saint-Maximin, Fernandez, Clark and Willock.
