University of Houston guard Quentin Grimes, a key member of the Cougars’ Final Four run, will hire an agent and enter the NBA draft, he announced Friday.
Grimes led the Cougars and ranked third in the American Athletic Conference with 17.8 points per game and finished second on the team with 5.7 rebounds per contest.
He was a unanimous selection for the All-American Athletic Conference First Team and was named the league’s Player of the Year, a first for the UH program since 1993.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
