WWE chugs along in 2022 with another edition of SummerSlam.
WWE’s annual summer showcase, SummerSlam is quickly approaching. The event is usually held in August, but this year fans will get to experience all the action in July. As matches and angles are announced, this year’s card continues to take shape.
SummerSlam has long been considered one of the “big five” events put on each year. Along with WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. This is the 35th event to be held under that name.
SummerSlam 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, July 30 from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets went on sale on April 22 and according to Wrestle Tix’s reporting of July 4, 28,243 tickets of the 35,877 capacity have been distributed.

- Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman versus Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
- Pat McAfee versus Happy Corbin in a singles match
- Bobby Lashley versus Austin Theory in a singles match for the WWE United States Championship
WWE SummerSlam 2022 will be available for streaming via the Peacock network for viewers in the United States. Viewers in other countries can access the content via the WWE network.
