Environmental matters

The commitment of the Village’s Pierre & Vacances residences has been rewarded by receipt of the ‘Clef Verte’ (Green Key) label.  This symbol of ecologically responsible tourism has recognised Arc 1950’s commitment to sustainable development. Residents and visitors alike are active participants in a strategy which includes an environmental policy, water, waste and energy management and working towards a sustainable living environment. All the village restaurants are committed to supporting local produce and using organic products when they can.

The resort is car free and offers beautiful views of Mont Blanc. There is a free shuttle from Bourg Saint Maurice, with options for train travel from the UK, flights via Lyon, Geneva or Grenoble or a nine-hour drive by car from Calais (underground parking is available below the village).
