After parting ways with Darren Cahill earlier this month, Simona Halep has quickly moved to add former coach Adrian Marcu to her team. Halep and Marcu originally parted ways in 2013 after working together that season.
Marcu and Daniel Dobre, who has been a part of Halep’s team in three different stints – 2013-14, 2016-17, and 2019 to present. Marcu worked alongside Dobre during parts of Dobre’s first stint as Halep’s coach.
