Red Bluff girls tennis falls to PV, beats Foothill – Red Bluff Daily News

RED BLUFF — The Red Bluff girls tennis team took a 3-6 loss to Pleasant Valley Tuesday before rallying back for a 6-3 win over Foothill Wednesday, both matches on the road.

In singles play against Pleasant Valley, Allana Geraty won 6-1, 6-0 and Alyssa Harrison took a marathon win 2-6, 6-1, 12-10.

Taylor Deveraux lost 6-2, 0-4, 4-10; Eden Thomes lost 4-6, 3-6 and Danielle Foley fell 1-6, 1-6. Olivia Solli lost by default after an injury.

In doubles play, Geraty and Deveraux won 8-2, Harrison and Foley lost 3-8 and Thomes and Solli lost by default after an injury.

At Foothill, Geraty won 6-3, 6-1; Deveraux won 6-2, 6-3; Harrison won 6-1, 1-6, 12-10 and Mary Cottier won 7-5, 5-1. Foley lost 0-6, 0-6 and Thomes lost 2-6, 6-2, 9-11.

Garety and Deveraux won 8-6 and Cottier and Thomes won 8-4. Harrison and Foley lost 6-8.

The Spartans return home next week to host Shasta at noon March 31 and Chico April 1.
