Buffaloes Head To Vegas For ITA Mountain Regional

BOULDER – Colorado women’s tennis program heads to Las Vegas this week for the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Mountain Regional Championships this Wednesday through Sunday.
 
The team has competed in three tournament this season with an overall singles record of 26-27 and an overall doubles record of 11-16. Antonia Balzert leads the team with seven wins in nine matches individually, while Ky Ecton and Mila Stanojevic have doubles records with various partners totaling to four wins each.
 
Colorado will travel everyone except Sophia Derivan for this tournament. Caroline Pozo, Maria Campos, Stanojevic, Balzert, and Betina Tokac all have singles win percentages at .500 or greater, while Ellie Puzak and Tokac have the best doubles record at 3-1.
 
Senior Megan Forster is seeking her 40th win in her CU individual career. She is just two wins away from the mark and five wins away from entering the top-40 in CU history in total singles wins.
 
Colorado finishes out the fall season at the Florida Gulf Coast Invite the first weekend of November.
