Top seed Robert Gardos ended Sam Walker’s run in the semi-finals of the WTT Feeder event in Dusseldorf.
The Austrian, world ranked 26, prevailed in five – winning three close games after eighth seed Walker had levelled the match at 1-1 – and went on to win the competition by defeating Brian Afanador of Puerto Rico in the final.
