Egypt’s Mohamed Ibrahim won the 2022 African Snooker Championship in Morocco, beating Hesham Shawky 5-4 in a dramatic final which went down to the last two balls.
Ibrahim potted the pink in the decider to win the event for the second time, having lifted the trophy in 2018. The 32-year-old will be nominated to join the World Snooker Tour from the start of the current season.
WST congratulates the African Billiards & Snooker Confederation for the staging of this tournament.
