After years of waiting, the Seattle Kraken expansion draft is here a little early.
It’s a huge day for the NHL’s 32nd franchise, and a big one for the rest of the league. By Wednesday night, each of them will have lost at least one player — and many will have lost important contributors.
The big, 30-name reveal will begin at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), and some of the names have already begun to leak. The Athletic’s NHL team will be here throughout the day (and night) keeping you up to date with names, analysis and plenty more.
