Central Connecticut State women’s lacrosse was defeated in its interstate showdown with Sacred Heart University, falling to the Pioneers 13-7. Katelyn Parker and Madison Palumbo each had two goals for the Blue Devils.

- Lauren Valluzzi got the scoring started for CCSU with a goal just over a minute into the game on a free position attempt after a Sacred Heart foul. The Pioneers answered back with a score just 20 seconds later that knotted things at one.
- The Blue Devils were able to take advantage of another free position attempt shortly after this, this one coming from Palumbo.
- Olivia Gianakos cashed in on another free position attempt that tied things back up at three.
- Parker scored her first goal of the day on, you guessed it, a free position attempt for CCSU.
- Palumbo scored her second of the day a few moments after this on an assist from Parker. The goal put CCSU ahead 5-3.
- After the Pioneers got the game tied back up at five, Parker scored her second goal of the afternoon on an assist from Angelina Anderson.
- Jessica Denike scored on an assist from Rosie Sconzo to put the Blue Devils ahead 7-5, but the Pioneers tied things back up with 6:32 left in the first half.
- The Blue Devils did not get back on the scoreboard during the second half while the Pioneers scored five unanswered goals. The Pioneers outshot CCSU 19-4 over the second half.
