Central Connecticut lost at Brown, 22-2, in women’s lacrosse action on Thursday in Providence, RI. The Blue Devils were held scoreless in the opening period and were unable to rally against the Bears.

- Brown scored just over 30 seconds into the game and would go on to build a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Sophomore Lauren Valluzzi would score off an assist from freshman Talie Richardson to make it 12-1 at halftime.
- After four goals by the Bears to begin the second half, junior Olivia Gianakos scored off a feed from graduate student Rosie Sconzo with 3:34 to play in the third quarter. Brown would not allow another CCSU goal and scored six tallies in the final quarter.
NOTES
- Valuzzi and Gianakos had five and three shots, respectively, to lead CCSU.
- Sophomore Kya Risher started in goal and made six stops for the Blue Devils. Junior Adrianna Richards also made one stop.
- Richardson had a team-high four draw controls.
