Fort Worth, Texas – The Panther City Lacrosse Club (5-8) duels the Colorado Mammoth (7-5) at Dickies Arena on Saturday, March 26. Faceoff is set for 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
In the teams’ last meeting, rookie forward Patrick Dodds put on a show, notching a season-high 11 points on five goals and six assists, earning Rookie of the Week honors. Dodds has been a frontrunner for NLL Rookie of the Year all season, as his 63 points are second among rookies and he has been a driving force in making Panther City one of the most dynamic offenses over the past four weeks.
Another reason for the team’s offensive blitz has been the additions of forwards Cam Milligan and Dean Fairall, who Executive of the Year candidate and Panther City General Manager Bob Hamley brought in to improve the teams power play. Since adding them, Panther City is 14 of 17 (.824) on the man advantage and the team’s offense has improved dramatically as a result, including putting up an NLL season-high 20 goals against the Mammoth on 3/11.
