ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Legendary Sports Group, in partnership with the Richmond Hawks, announced the Honor Our Heroes Lacrosse Tournament, to be hosted June 4th and 5th, 2022, at Dorey Park in Henrico, Virginia.
The tournament will be open for middle school and high school boy’s teams in divisions 2026 – 2031 (Ages 12 – 17). Each field will memorialize four Medal of Honor recipients, detailing their heroics. Fields will be named after the branches of our military and public safety members. A portion of proceeds of the event will be donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation.
“Supporting our military and first responders are causes our organization cares deeply about,” said LSG President Dave Cottle. “Giving youth athletes a chance to battle competitively to improve their game, while also honoring the sacrifices our military has made is a win-win. We hope reinforce to these young men the importance of teamwork.”
The event’s inaugural year (2021) hosted 24 teams on its fields. Together, LSG and the Richmond Hawks will amplify the 2022 event through increased programming, elevated player experience and elite competition.
