6:52 pm. All-Around Standings

1. Leanne Wong 54.400
2. Shilese Jones 54.050
3. Katelyn Rosen 52.500
4. Marissa Neal 51.650
5. Brooke Pierson 51.450
6. Nola Matthews 51.100
7. Joscelyn Roberson 49.550
– Lauren Little 49.550
9. Ciena Alipio 49.350
10. Amelia Disidore 48.850

6:47 pm. Shilese Jones FX: Really open double double at the start of her routine. Solid landing. Double L turn. Lovely switch half. Double layout, maybe a little deep but not bad at all, hop back. Front tuck through to double tuck, a little forward on that landing and bounces a little. Hit routine! She needs above a 14 to pass Leanne in the all-around. 13.650 (5.5, 8.150)

6:43 pm. Joscelyn Roberson FX: Straddle jump, looked like 1.5 turns, big double layout, hit her leap pass, maybe a little short but hard for me to see from this angle. Arabian double front is really nice but lands a little low, step forward. Gets through a double? wolf turn. Front full to front tuck. Double pike, chest a little low, step forward. 12.700 (5.2, 7.500)

6:40 pm. Amelia Disidore FX: Full-in with a step back. Double tuck, hop back. Switch half with a little flair on the landing. 1.5 to front full, maybe a little deep, but no major problems with it. Double pike, also a little deep, hop back. 12.550 (5.0, 7.550)

6:37 pm. Ciena Alipio FX: Double pike to start, nice. Gets the Memmel to illusion around. Clean 1.5 to front layout. Front layout full with a hop forward. 12.200 (4.5, 7.700)

6:33 pm. Leanne Wong FX: Double double with a small hop back. Dos Santos to stag, very nice. Think she was supposed to do a 2.5 to front layout full, but came up short on the 2.5 and ended up doing a tucked barani out of it. Kind of a boss save, at least. Double pike to finish was strong. 13.600 (5.7, 7.900)

6:30 pm. Nola Matthews FX: Triple full to start, step back, but nice! Fell on her second pass, sadly. Switch ring to tour jeté half. Double tuck with a hop. 11.700 (4.9, 7.100, -0.3 ND)

Lauren Little VT: I missed this. 12.800 (4.2, 8.600)

6:29 pm. Brooke Pierson VT: Yurchenko 1.5, really good! Step on the landing. 13.800 (4.6, 9.300, -0.1)

6:26 pm. Marissa Neal FX: She hit her first two passes, I already forgot what they were. Second was a full-in maybe? 2.5 to front layout had a super deep landing, but didn’t touch the floor. Double pike at the end with a step. 12.000 (5.1, 6.900)

6:25 pm. Katelyn Rosen VT: Yurchenko 1.5, really nice, step forward. Could that be enough to pull her up in for the bronze, assuming Shilese and Leanne get gold and silver? 13.850 (4.6, 9.250)

6:20 pm. Rotation 3 Standings

1. Leanne Wong 40.800
2. Shilese Jones 40.400
3. Marissa Neal 39.650
4. Nola Matthews 39.400
5. Katelyn Rosen 38.650

6:15 pm. Amelia Disidore BB: I caught it at the side somi, nice switch side, GAGE *loves* a switch side. Double full with a hop back. 11.200 (3.7, 7.500)

6:11 pm. Ciena Alipio BB: Layout stepout mount, one foot looked a little bit off, but super solid regardless. Side aerial loso loso is very nice. Front aerial, double wolf turn, finishes with her chest forward, switch leap to switch half, she’s short there and doesn’t get the landing, BUMMER. Fall. Side somi is good, and she hits a tucked gainer off the end of the beam for her dismount.

6:07 pm. Leanne Wong BB: Switch to wolf jump full, I love that so much. Bhs loso, solid. Full L turn. Switch ring. I think knee could have been higher. Front aerial to straddle jump to split jump. Side aerial, slight check that she covered well. Clean side somi. 2.5 dismount, excellent. 13.550 (5.4, 8.250, -0.1 ND)

6:04 pm. Nola Matthews BB: Hit the mount, solid bhs loso, someone wants an AA medal! Hit her jump series well. The rest is pretty clean, double tuck with a step back. 12.500 (4.8, 7.700)

6:02 pm. Marissa Neal BB: I missed the beginning, she was excellent here at American Classic. Caught it from the front aerial, clean. Double pike, chest a little low with a small hop. Didn’t see the beginning but don’t think she fell! 12.950 (4.9, 8.050)

6:00 pm. Brooke Pierson FX: I’m 95% sure I saw her warm up a 3.5 earlier today (on its own, not part of a routine) which I feel like if she DID was just for fun and not what she’s going to compete because I don’t think I’ve seen her do anything close to that??? Double pike to start with a step back. Double tuck with a step. Third pass was into a front full, I missed the entry. 1.5 maybe? Finishes 2.5 to front tuck, some form in the 2.5. Good! 11.650 (5.0, 6.650) – E seems low, I must have missed something.

5:56 pm. Shilese Jones BB: Off on her layout stepout mount and flight series. LORD PROTECT ME. I’m sad. Switch leap to switch half is good. Had a leap connected to full turn, cross jump half, and a double pike with a step. 11.500 (5.6, 5.900)

Katelyn Rosen FX: Great landing on the full-twisting double layout! Double layout, some leg form, hop back. Switch half. 1.5 to front layout is good. Hit the last pass. 13.700 (5.4, 8.300)! Wow.

5:53 pm. Joscelyn Roberson BB: Layout stepout mount to back handspring, crooked and she falls. NOOOOOO. Standing full with a small bobble. Onodi, straddle jump to tuck half. Bobble on the switch side. Tour jeté half. Great side aerial loso loso. Double pike with a small step. 12.300 (6.0, 6.300)

Lauren Little FX: Double pike, good landing. 2.5 to front tuck, looked like she stepped forward. Sadly crashed her third pass. 11.400 (4.8, 6.600)

Only Little, Rosen, and Pierson are doing floor…no Fatta, Booth, or Jung-Ruivivar.

5:52 pm. Touch just wrapping up for rotation three!

5:49 pm. Rotation 2 Standings

1. Shilese Jones 28.900
2. Leanne Wong 27.250
3. Nola Matthews 26.900
4. Marissa Neal 26.700
5. Brooke Pierson 26.000

5:45 pm. Katelyn Rosen BB: I missed the beginning of this, saw a front aerial with a check, double full dismount. Okay, I guess I missed almost all of it, she started when Leanne was still going on bars so it was hard. Think she hit though, didn’t see any falls. 12.150 (4.7, 7.450)

5:44 pm. Leanne Wong UB: Stalder half to big straddle Jaeger, toe full almost perfectly to vertical, does the cleanest Bhardwaj she’s done all weekend but slips off after catching! NOOOO. Back on, catches a Pak, van Leeuwen, and a high double layout with a small bounce back. 12.850 (5.6, 7.250)

5:40 pm. Nola Matthews UB: Toe-on to toe full to Chow to Ricna, very nice! Blind change to straddle Jaeger, Pak, back up to the high bar, I missed how, clean stuck double layout! Brilliant. 13.900 (5.9, 8.000)

Levi Jung-Ruivivar BB: Check at the end of her bhs loso. Wobble on the front aerial. Step on the dismount. 11.600 (5.0, 6.600)

5:37 pm. Marissa Neal UB: Maloney to Pak, good van Leeuwen, just some leg separation, clear hip to toe half to straddle Jaeger, stuck the double layout! Good work! 12.850 (5.4, 7.450)

Charlotte Booth BB: Split jump to straddle jump, off on her triple flight series. Front aerial, hit a side somi I think as well? Side aerial. Hit the dismount. 11.700 (5.1, 6.600)

5:34 pm. Lauren Little BB: Clean jump series, also a clean leap series, hit the dismount, everything I saw was nice! I think this is usually a weak spot for her. 12.150 (4.9, 7.250)

Shilese Jones UB: Stalder full almost to handstand, to Chow to Tkachev, she looks a little rushed and not as calm as she was in training which is causing minor little adjustments on some skills, full pirouette before the Downie to Pak, van Leeuwen, blind change to front giant to double front, cowboyed with a step back. 14.500 (6.3, 8.200)

5:31 pm. Joscelyn Roberson UB: Clear hip half to Ezhova, leg form throughout, short handstand before the Maloney to Pak, leg separation on both, arches over on a toe half and does a full by mistake, love that for her, corrects to get a half around, toe shoot, double layout, not enough height and ends up tucking the second flip a bit. 10.550 (4.6, 5.950)

5:30 pm. Addison Fatta BB: Nice triple wolf turn, had a jump into her flight series, looked like a loso loso? That’s awesome. Front aerial, slow to the straddle jump to Korbut. Big wild bobble on her side aerial but nice save. Cross split jump half I think…hop back on the double full dismount. 12.350 (5.0, 7.350)

5:28 pm. Amelia Disidore UB: Big Ray to Pak, some form on the latter, toe full, van Leeuwen with some leg form, stalder to stalder half (bent arms) to straddle Jaeger, misses it. Just the dismount after that, a double pike, which she sticks. 11.550 (5.1, 6.450)

5:26 pm. Ciena Alipio UB: Toe half to piked Jaeger, Pak with some leg separation, toe full to van Leeuwen, legs are a bit wild, double tuck with a step back. Good for her! 12.450 (4.6, 7.850)

Brooke Pierson BB: Hit her flight series (some knee form), jump series with a nice sissone, full turn, front aerial, split jump, 2.5 with a step. Nice! 12.650 (4.7, 7.950)

5:25 pm. Touch wrapping up for the second rotation!

5:21 pm. Rotation 1 Standings

1. Leanne Wong 14.400
– Shilese Jones 14.400
3. Joscelyn Roberson 14.000
4. Marissa Neal 13.850
5. Amelia Disidore 13.550

5:16 pm. Levi Jung-Ruivivar UB: Hop change to front giant to straddle Jaeger, stalder to Ricna to Pak, some considerable leg separation on the Pak, toe-on to van Leeuwen, had a weird twist there, did an extra kip cast to handstand before her toe full, gets it nearly to vertical but with some hip form breaks, and hits the full-in dismount. 12.900 (5.5, 7.400)

5:15 pm. Marissa Neal VT: Yurchenko 1.5, hit it! Good landing. She balked this at American Cup and just did a tuck I think, which made her miss qualifying to nationals. I think she’ll make it here! 13.850 (4.6, 9.250)

5:13 pm. Shilese Jones VT: Big DTY, hopped back on the landing, and then hopped again into the salute, but it was gorgeous in the air! 14.400 (5.0, 9.400)

Charlotte Booth UB: Hit the Tkachev to mixed grip (I missed the entry, stalder I think) to Ezhova, also had a van Leeuwen (some leg form), and a double layout with a step forward. 13.400 (5.7, 7.700)

5:11 pm. Joscelyn Roberson VT: Wow, went for the Yurchenko half-on front layout full, and it was REALLY good for the first time competing it! Really impressed with that and am glad they put it before the DTY. 14.000 (5.2, 8.800)

The DTY is also fine today, some form things in the air and a big step back to stop it from twisting, but good for her, great start to her meet.

Lauren Little UB: Wasn’t typing during this but it was a hit routine! 13.200 (5.4, 7.800)

5:09 pm. Addison Fatta UB: Piked Jaeger, toe full, a little rushed, to a big floaty Pak, some leg form, Maloney to Gienger, a little low there, hit the dismount. 13.150 (5.5, 7.650)

Ciena Alipio VT: Yurchenko 1.5, she got it! I saw her sit so many in podium training and even in the warmup earlier today, but this was fine! Form things but she’ll be very happy to get that. 13.300 (4.6, 8.700)

Amelia Disidore VT: FTY, looked really really clean to me! 13.550 (4.2, 9.350)

5:05 pm. Leanne Wong VT: Super solid DTY. Form is pretty good and the landing is solid, absorbed it nicely. Getting picky, her leg form is probably a little soft in the second rotation mostly. But that was good. 14.400 (5.0, 9.400)

Does a Yurchenko half-on front layout half for a second vault. Step back.

Brooke Pierson UB: Toe full to Maloney to Pak, van Leeuwen with some leg form, stalder half to straddle Jaeger, and the full-in lands a little low with her chest especially, step. 13.350 (5.4, 7.950)

5:03 pm. Nola Matthews VT: FTY, pikes it down a little near the end, but not bad. Big hop back. 13.000 (4.2, 8.800)

Katelyn Rosen UB: Hop change to front giant to straddle Jaeger, toe full is a little loose to Pak, toe-on to Maloney to Tkachev, a bit low but she gets it over. Pings off early on the double layout but manages to get it around without any problems. 12.800 (5.4, 7.400)

5:02 pm. Looks like bars is ready to. Vault is still wrapping up.

5:01 pm. Touch warmup is just finishing up!
