Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday has been rescheduled.
The Red Devils have a 100 per cent winning record at home this season, with their only dropped points coming on the road at Southampton.
However, preparation for their next home game – against Villa on talkSPORT 2 – has already been slightly disrupted with a new kick-off time confirmed.
United were due to face Dean Smith’s side at 3pm on Saturday, September 25, but the clash has now been moved to the earlier slot at 12:30pm.
The match will therefore play at the same time as rival Manchester City’s trip to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The decision to move United’s fixture comes at the request of the Trafford Council Safety Advisory Group amid safety concerns for fans.
And the reason for that is Manchester band The Courteeners will be playing a concert at Old Trafford cricket ground in the evening.

A club statement read: “Our home match against Aston Villa on 25 September has been brought forward to a 12.30 BST kick-off, following a request from Trafford Council Safety Advisory Group to move the game due to The Courteeners concert at Lancashire Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford, on the same day.
“This request was supported by Greater Manchester Police and TfGM to avoid significant crowd, traffic and operational issues locally.
“We regret any disruption that this may cause around our supporters’ plans for the day.”
United v Aston Villa will be exclusively live on talkSPORT 2 while coverage of Chelsea v City will be exclusively live on talkSPORT.
Cristiano Ronaldo will look to extend his goalscoring run against Villa, having managed to find the net in each of his three appearances in all competitions since he re-signed from Juventus.
His first Premier League game saw him fire in a double against Newcastle.
The 36-year-old then hit the back of the net again in the Red Devils’ Champions League opener against Young Boys, which ended in a shock defeat.
And Ronaldo kept up his stunning scoring run as United held on to beat West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday.
The deadly forward scored an equaliser in the first half to give him his third Premier League goal of the season, and fourth since re-joining United.
The Red Devils went on to win the game 2-1, but Ronaldo could certainly have had many more to his name in that game.
