A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded on Twitter to Alasdair Gold’s latest claim surrounding the future of striker Harry Kane.
The Football.london journalist has stated the north London club do not intend to allow Kane to depart this summer, despite the speculation surrounding a potential summer transfer.
Will Spurs keep Kane this summeer?
Manchester City have reportedly already submitted an opening bid for the England captain, which is believed to be in the form of £100m and includes a first refusal clause on their unwanted players.
Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from The Spurs Express relaying the claim from the journalist to show their absolute delight.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“YESS!! This is what we wanted to hear”
“If Ali said it it’s good enough for me”
“In other news, water is wet.”
“Humongous dubs bossman xx”
It has been reported the 27-year-old is valued north of £120m to Spurs and despite having a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Daniel Levy, Spurs are hoping to keep Kane.
And it is not surprising Spurs are hoping to maintain Kane’s services in N17. The England captain was presented with the Premier League’s Golden Boot and Playmaker award at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
Going by the reaction of these Tottenham fans, it is apparent they are absolutely delighted to hear the north London club still expect to keep their star man this summer.
