BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) — Huracan missed the chance to stay in touch with Argentina’s Primera Division leader when it drew 1-1 at Arsenal Sarandi on Friday.

Mauro Pitton put the hosts ahead early in the second half with a right-footed finish into the bottom left corner after combining with Sebastian Lomonaco.

Franco Cristaldo equalized on the hour mark when he latched onto Santiago Hezze’s pass and slotted a low effort past goalkeeper Alejandro Medina.

The result leaves Huracan third in Argentina’s 28-team top flight standings, four points behind leader Atletico Tucuman. Arsenal is 14th, nine points further back.

Also on Friday, Lanus drew 2-2 at Central Cordoba.
